MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Why join the membership committee?
Being involved in a committee is a great way to get to know other MPI members and get more value and R.O.I. out of your membership. The membership committee works with the Dallas Headquarters to process applications for the local chapter and to welcome and encourage local meeting professionals to join the MPI GEC chapter. Our committee creates membership incentive programs, honours our members with awards and service pins as well as implements an Ambassador program for new members to welcome them to our chapter. For any additional information please contact our VP of Membership, Eleanor Fulton.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE

Why join the Education Committee?
Our committee is responsible for planning approximately 8 monthly educational meeting events a year. We select the best venues, and the most exciting speakers who are entertaining but who will deliver strong educational content that will interest all of our Meeting Professional members. If you have an interest in producing meetings with a WOW educational factor we want you on our committee. With the resources MPI offers and our contacts our meetings will be the best.

NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE

Why join the newsletter committee?
Our committee is responsible for gathering news, views and profiles of our members and the latest developments in our community. Our newsletter reaches out and informs our members local meeting news in a creative way. This important communication tool for our membership advertises our products and services to those that matter in the meetings industry. Advertisers welcome.

SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

Why join the Special Events Committee:
Being involved in a committee is a great way to get to know other MPI members and get more out of your membership. On the Special Events Committee, we get to plan great events such as the Schmooze at the Sheraton, the June Gala and the Holiday Party. It's great fun organizing an event.
